Is it creepy for a 21 year old to date a 28 year old?

BTW, the half your age plus seven was originally meant to determine your ideal spouse's age in Victorian times, not your maximum range. The idea of a few year age gap being too much is a modern thing. It's not creepy for 21 to date 28, I'm 27 and I'd date a 20 year old girl without even the tiniest bit of hesitation.

If you are intending marrying someone where there's a huge age gap, then it's only relevant in terms of thinking through the implications : do you want children or not? are you able to have children or not? are you prepared to care for an older partner if they get sick or incapacitated (this can happen even with younger partners).

I don't think that's too bad. It's not like he's a 50+ year old dating you. I think that a 7 year age gap is okay. I know people who dated and were those ages. It's really all what you make of it. Hope I was able to help. :)
