Is the Mass Effect Trilogy on disc worth my money?

I am thinking of getting Mass Effect Trilogy on disc. I had so much fun with Mass Effect 2 but never played ME1 OR ME2. I'm thinking of getting Mass Effect Trilogy on disc because I want to carry my Shepard through all of the games with my story carrying on. Is it really worth my money? All opinions wanted. AND YES I DONT CARE THAT THE ME3 ENDING ISNT THAT GOOD.

Update:

I meant I have never played ME1 or ME3

This is actually one of the only circumstances that I would say to start at the beginning. It's a lot more satisfying if you can just stick with one Shepherd throughout the entirety of the adventure. Besides, ME1 was absolutely amazing for it's time. It will also give you a sort of nostalgic feeling if you played each game as they came out. There are small things that the last two games reference from the first that you wouldn't pick up on normally. An example is in ME2. If you had beaten ME1 and a certain DLC for it, there is a character on the citadel that will ask if you remember who they are and what you did for them. Yatta yatta. It's pretty cool.

Yes, if you liked Mass Effect 2 then you'd definitely like the Mass Effect Trilogy. You'd get the full story from beginning to end and you'd get to see the choices you made in ME1 have an effect on ME2 and ME3. It's three games for the price of one as well...

For you, it is worth the money. If you loved ME2 then playing ME1 will only make your playing experience better. There are so many little things that carry through from ME1 that make the game that much more interesting. And if you truly love the characters then yes, playing all three games with your own Shepard is a must.

I would only recommend it to someone new to the series. I have 2 and 3. 2 was the best. 3 has good multiplayer. I never played the first. 3 ending wasn't bad too me . 2 was the best experience so there's no point of buying the full trilogy.

If you want the full Mass Effect experience such as Paragon or Renegade points and level up i suggest all three because everything and everyone you meet will carry over to each game even how you pick what your face looks like
