What do you think about the sandy hook shooting? 2012 mass shooting?

Many schools in the US have police officers assigned to them aren't they the same as armed guards.....

In a not perfect world only the good guys would turn in their guns and we would be helpless and at the

mercy of the bad guys.Too bad we will never know if a police officer was assigned to that school how many lives could he have saved. Drugs and drunk driving have been against the law for years and that does not help.

Having a gun will not help all the time but being defenseless will never help..

We could use the money we give to countries that hate us,our children are more important!!

Isn't it better to have a gun and not need it than to need it and not have it!!

It was a tragedy. Unfortunately it is being used for political maneuvering. The two major mass shootings that occurred in 2012, CT and Aurora, CO were perpetrated by mentally ill people. Of course the knee jerk reaction is calling for more gun control, but with 300 million guns in the US, mass shootings are pretty rare. The issue is mental health care and identifying people who a re a danger to themselves and others.

It's sad that 20 children died in CT but considering that 333,000 children died in the US last year due to abortion, what's the biggest killer of children?

This was a national tragedy. What else do you want said? These were not my children but I grieve for them.

As an Englishman, it wasn't my country or way of life.When fire arms are so much a part of your tradition,when you put a gun in your pocket as easy as you put your cell phone,.when your very constitution demands your right to have guns,there is no huge surprise such tragic events do happen from time to time.?

I want to bring back the shooter back to life so he can be killed again an again
