how long does an OWI stay on your record?
i was found guilty in 1998 of driving intoxicated, paid the fine and did my jail time. at that time, my lawyer informed me that it would only stay on my record for a given amount of time. while having a recent background check, my employer discovered it is still listed. if it is still on record, can it be removed (expunged) after this much time without any other violations?
