My best friend is trying to find a Filipina wife. Should I talk him out of it?
My best friend is 25, a law student, and never had problems finding American girlfriends but he says he wants a wife that will be a little more traditional, that would be happy if he treats them right and does his best to make the relationship work. (He said a number of his ex's wanted a fairy tale relationship.)
Should I talk him out of it, or is he right that he could find a woman from the Philippines around his age who would be a good "life-long partner?"

Don't talk him out of it.He can look wherever he wants to find a girl. Maybe he will find one in America, maybe not. it is his choice. All you can do is support him as a friend.

He could also try Russia, the Ukraine, Thailand, or any of the assorted former Soviet Republics/Block countries if no American woman will have him.
