kindle ereader problems ?
hi, i got a kindle reader for christmas and have downloaded a book to read. now since then i have read 33% and i tried to turn the page but it froze. i tried to turn it off but it wouldn't . so i pressed one or two random buttons and the centre larger button and it went onto the opening kindle page and the moving scale went from a third of the way across to the right and i presume 100% then it went back to the page i was reading. since then everything was fine?.
did i do something wrong when i downloaded my first book or is this normal. the manual leaflet isn't very helpful.

I have a Sony ereader, actually 3 as I keep upgrading and this has happened to me a few times so its just something technical that can happen. Sometimes it means there is a firmware update to your ereader. http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.htm... Firmware update means the company either has small fixes to the device or they want to add something to it. For instance a few years ago people bought xboxes. Then the company decided to offer Netflix through the device so they had a firmware update, so people who had bought it could update it and then have access to Netflix through the device.

Its not normal but if it corrected itself then you should hopefully be ok.
Some times the books get data corruptions when you download them that cause the Kindle to choke when trying to read a specific page.

My sister is a kindle exburt but she said its how they made it its rubish they want money for something what didn't work sorry
