Well dogs hate the sound of each other howling and all most dogs really are is trained wolves so possibly but not anymore than they hate other dogs howling.
But I guess it also depends on the dog.

I feel like it would be comforting to them to hear another howl. Personally I think its a sound that they should be comftorable with because it is in their ancestory. All dogs were wolflike at one point, so I think they should be able to relate, not to mention, dogs can howl too. So I dont see why the type of dog would make a difference. To me thats kind of like asking, does it bother a Bermese Mountain Dog that a German Shepard is howling?
