Can you shave an angora rabbit to shear it?

I am looking into getting an angora rabbit and want to sell its wool. I haven't seen this mentioned anywhere, but couldn't you just shave the rabbit with a hair trimmer with a #4 blade, so that the hair is a uniform half inch after you are done, and you have to wool. Would this work if you want to sell the wool?

I'd say no. I have an angora and the wool is absolutely worth no money from a rabbit. Sheep are much more uncommon so to speak. Rabbit wool is not as rare. If you were to keep it for yourself then go right ahead.
