how long does it take for a shop to assemble an engine?
I took my engine ( honda d16z6 ) to a shop to get sleeved and fully assembled and its been about 2 months now and it still isn't done. How long does a shop take to assemble an engine? Keep in mind that they are building everything, the head, block, pistons, rods, etc. this shop is pretty busy but still. How long does it take?

should only take 1 or two weeks depends on machine shop parts are taken to whatever u do dont go down theer n demand to get ur car back by a certain date it would only make me go slower dont try to make things worse for urself go down n check on it tell them u really need ur car check to c if they r having a problem getting parts every sittuation is different good luck

i've rebuilt tons of motors in a day or 2 no more then that basically go down there and tell them to have it finished by some date you want and if they dont finish it by then you not going to pay the full price
