Magic the gathering, instant cards?

So I haven't been able to find anything about how many instant cards you can use in one turn, so is there a limit or can I use as many as I want? Also my deck is based around plain and fire which I personally find to be great because of fires power and plains ablity win life points and instant destroy cards like supreme verdict, but I don't know how to use the plain walker jace, nor does he fit into my deck so how rare is the card and how much would it be worth or should I just keep it?

Update:

It's jace mind adept

You can play instants anytime, as much as you want, as long as you can pay for it.

Which Jace are you talking about? And please refer to the cards as their colors, it's weird when someone calls a Red card "fire" or ""mountain".

This is a guide on Planeswalkers: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/TCG/Article.aspx?x=ma...

Rarities of the cards are their Expansion symbols on the middle line, black being common, silver uncommon, gold is rare, orange-red is mythic.

EDIT: I don't know why I got split second confused with Time Stop.

Memory Adept is nice, he lets you draw a card every turn if you choose, and with that same ability put an opponents top card of their library into the graveyard, which could prevent them from getting a vital answer they need. I would only put him in if you have blue resources, like Glacial Fortress, Sulfur Falls, or Steam Vents. When you learn more about the game and Planeswalkers, he can be a very nice addition to your deck. He will more than likely be a late game play though, but that's no problem if you're smashing your opponents face in with Red burn spells and good red creatures like Bloodfray Giant or Splatter Thug.

    1. You can use as many instants as you can cast.

    2. Decks don't revolve around fire and plain, it contains red and white. There's no designation in this game called fire, you're thinking of yugioh.

    3. It's planeswalker as a plainswalker is a completely different thing. You won't get as much as it's selling for but I'm seeing a JTMA selling for $20.

    4. You can tell the rarity of the card by the symbol in the right hand corner under the illustration. Black is common, silver is uncommon, gold is rare, and mythic is a reddish color.

When you get a booster pack there will be one rare card but you will have 1/6th of a chance for this rare to be a mythic.and then you will have the chance to get any of the mythics available in the set.

Source(s): There's no card called Jace, the Mind Adept, there's Jace, memory adept and Jace, the Mind Sculptor. Those are two different cards with the second being much more expensive than the first

No, there is no limit to how many instances you can play in one turn, you do need priority to play at least one if it's not your turn, which you get as steps and phases end or if the current player casts a spell or activates a non-mana ability.

And as to Jace how much he is worth is dependent on which Jace it is, there are four or five different Jaces, and i think the Jace the mind sculptor is really the only one worth a lot of money. Also you ca't use Jace in your Red/White deck unless you splash in blue, which i don't recommend.

Unless there is an effect to limit the number of spells you can cast (like Orim's chant or Arcane Laboratory), you can cast as many as you can pay for.

Explaining how to use planes walkers is a bit more involved. Depending on which specific card, it could be worth twenty or fifty dollars.

You can play as many instants as you can afford the mana for.

Life gaining can be fun, but it's just a stall. It doesn't win you the game. Be careful going down that path. Remember that you still have to beat your opponent.

Jace is a powerful card in high demand. If you trade it, don't trade it lightly. Some sites have it for as high as $100.
