RHH: Who do you prefer singing the hook, Drake, John Legend, or Frank Ocean?

I don't think Drake is a good enough singer to sing hooks except on his own songs. when he sings hooks for other people's songs, it makes me wonder why they didn't just get someone with actual singing ability?

I pick Frank Ocean.

I guess Frank Ocean. Drake is horrible and has a hideously ugly, horrible, awful, terrible, terrible, TERRIBLE voice, he has no business making music at all. John Legend is really really good, but I don't feel like his voice suits rap hooks. His voice needs to be left alone to make R&B music. Frank Ocean is a good singer and understands the hip hop world. So I would choose him.

BQ: There's no answer for this - sometimes it takes away a huge portion from the song, sometimes it makes the song amazing and perfect. It depends on how it was put together and produced, what the song was, what it was about, etc.

John Legend is brilliant on "They Say." Classy guy. Still annoyed with Kanye, being involved with Kim though. Liked Frank Ocean's contribution also.

BQ: Yes I do actually. I'm quite eclectic aka open-minded with my music taste.

ps: I love Cowboy Bebop too. They definitely better not f*ck up a film version!

John Legend 'cause he's GOAT

BQ: Generally I like 'em, but sometimes the hooks are too long. Some are like 40 seconds which take away from the rapping.

Frank Ocean.

Drake? Singing? No.

BQ: It depends on their voice & the beat,sometimes its an amazing combination sometimes it just doesn't sound right.

Frank Ocean I a little better than both of them.
