    Ozone absorbs UV-280 and more energetic light, no matter where it is.

    The lion's share is in the stratosphere, but it will absorb some in every layer it is found in (which is all but the exosphere).

    The ozone layer absorbs ultraviolet light. The ozone is in the stratospheric layer of our atmosphere.

    I believe it is either the Troposhere or Thermosphere.
