Well they are all wrong answers, so you missed a few or some idiot is asking the questions.
Answer is there is no "reason" to make them smaller other than they cost too much, weigh too much, and crap out at 1 meter (can't make them any bigger due to gravity).

None of those answers are correct. While lenses are inherently more expensive to make, they can only be made about three feet in diameter at the largest because of physical limitations. The largest is only some 40 inches. In order to pass light through them lenses must be supported around their rim (edge) only, and when they get too large and heavy the glass begins to bend under its own weight which distorts the image. Because mirrors reflect light from their surface they can be supported from the back so they don't bend and can be made much, much larger. It has nothing at all to do with any of the four reasons listed.

i mean what is the point of have a 5M telescope on your garage?
