Is there a GarageBand for PC?
I know that you can't get GarageBand for free on PC, but I was under the impression you can buy and download it from a disk. Is this true? If not, what are some good, free alternatives? I tried Mixcraft- very fun but I wasn't able to plug in my keyboard, I could only use the computer mic which had awful frequency. Same with Audacity, only it was less fun. FL Studio was too complicated and yet accomplished nothing except taking up space on my laptop. I'm looking into Anvil Studio, Kristal Something or Other, and that Quartz thing. (I forgot the names, can you tell? :P ) Please help me.

You should be able to use your keyboard with Mixcraft.
In Mixcraft, make sure that you have a virtual instrument track in your project. If you don't, add one from the Tracks menu. Click on the "change instrument" option to the left of the instrument track (it looks like piano keys) and select a virtual instrument, like piano or a synth or whatever. Click the Arm button, then click the red record button. Play something on your keyboard, then click stop and see if you've got yourself an instrument clip.
Also make sure you've got the latest version of Mixcraft 6:
