My PS3 quality is awful?!?

Im not sure why really ive been watching youtube videos and in 1080p and it seems everyone has such great quality, but my PS3 is pixelated and really rough and just awful. I use the same HDMI cabel from my PC to my TV and the image is crystal clear but when i use the same cabe and TV to my PS3 it just is really bad image. I dont know why becaus i play on my PC with the same HDMI and TV on highest graphics on very high end games, so there cant be anything wrong with the TV or the HDMI and i have set my settings on the PS3 to 1080p but the image is still horrible, please help!

Update:

Why would it be my TV if i use that same TV with my computer with the same HDMI and that works fine?

I'm going to assume you have an HD tv because if not you wouldnt be able to connect an HDMI cable. Anyways go to your settings and make sure you have the video output as the HDMI cable. If you are using standard cables as well (say as if you use the px21 headset you need the audio jacks) make sure you change that and pick 1080p. If you did this it may be the HDMI outlet on your tv. I had this happen to me on a different tv and a blueray player. The blueray player and the same HDMI cable work fine on every other TV just not this one. So it's quite possible that the HDMI outlet crapped out and it would happen for all of them. If you have it on another tv try it on them and if it works your best bet is to call someone to repair the tv and just tell them the problem.
