Is Mike McCarthy an underrated coach?
The guy has only had 1 losing season with the Packers in 7 years, has a Super Bowl title, 5 playoff appearances, 3 division titles and calls the plays for a team that has had one of the best offenses in the league the past few years.
Much of the credit goes to Rodgers(and he deserves it) but McCarthy is overshadowed.
Do you think he is underrated?
BQ-Is John Fox underrated too?

Yes he is! The year they won the Super Bowl he should have won Coach of the Year because they dominated in spite of NUMEROUS injuries to their starting line-up throughout the season.
And yes, Fox is underrated too but not as much as McCarthy.

Yes, on a national stage at least. People always bring up Bill Belichick, Tom Coughlin, Jim Harbaugh, and Mike Shanahan nationally. People seem to forget about Mike McCarthy at times. His records, as you said, including the Superbowl and winning percentage, indicate that he's been one of the best in Packer history since his arrival. It might be due for some credit to be given to McCarthy.
People like to point to Aaron Rodgers as the ultimate source of Packer success, when in truth, he is only part of the source. The reason they point to Rodgers is because of the things Brett Favre left behind, his "ghost," so to speak. While Rodgers has made valiant contributions that have lead to wins, McCarthy put the team together.
BQ: Yes, however he did get fired recently, and his record was previously garbage. He's also benefited from Peyton Manning, Von Miller, Elvis Dumervil, Champ Bailey, Tracy Porter, Willis McGahee, Eric Decker, Ryan Clady, and Demaryius Thomas being elite at theit positions. He walked on to several franchise players being reeled in by John Elway.

I think he's more underhyped, which is better imo.
He's won a championship, so he has the respect from his peers and pundits. Yet he doesn't seem to seek out attention like other coaches (Ryan, Carroll, Harbaughs to name a few).
BQ: I think Fox is a good coach, wouldn't say he's underrated though. Expectations are there in Denver.

definite!!!! i do no longer care approximately sixteen-0, to me that won't be able to evaluate with how Packers enhanced! NE did no longer advance that lots from final twelve months... plus, Patriots have lots of skills that even a coach no longer as solid as bill could do large! McCarthy for me has executed fare extra amazing activity - Packers are the youngest group in the NFL, they have enhanced from interest to interest and Farve has chanced on his greatness as quickly as lower back! What extra are you able to ask for? I propose did you notice how nicely they replied after 0-14 final interest -In PLAYOFFS!? They scored 6 consecutive TD's... 6! Plus, there is the cheating scandal - i do no longer even prefer to flow there! Mike I my opinion could be a sparkling winner for coach of the twelve months!
