can i use my pc as internet for android phone?

im wondering if my laptop can give internet to my phone using those portable pen-drive looking things that gives you internet connection.

lets say that my phone has no longer any connection of any kind, i also dont have any wifi around me, i just have a laptop and a portable internet pendrive. is there a way for that to give internet to my phone?

Update:

and how can i do this? im using a motorola master. also, this is my question if you dont get it:

PC gives internet to PHONE? possible? withought using wifi. so that the phone can use internet, not the PC.

PC-----internet(not using WIFI)----->PHONE

thanks.

    Yes! You can use the internet sharing option on your PC. It's pretty difficult to set up, but there some tutorials online to get it working, or you can find a program to help get it working with no hassle at all.

    I don't know how to do the Internet Sharing, however I have some software that I used sometime ago. The software is Connectify, link is in the sources, and this program works. Really easy to set-up, and you don't have to buy it, just download the LITE version. Try it out! Worked back when I used EasyTehter on my phone, and I think it should work with your USB modem.
