My uncle has desire v
It's strong,has good features
My dad has Samsung s3 which fell down from 4 feet and
It broke
Samsung uses cheap material but has very good features
Both have equal disadvantages and advantages

well,Not Much Specs DIfference Between those two,
Only design can explains which one Fits you , HTC is Beautiful in design But Samsung Has More RAM (768Mb) Secondary Cam and i've heard it 'll be upgraded to jelly bean OS so,definately samsung, Plus Good Re-sell in market of samsung .
But HTc Is Beautiful plus,beats audio and sense 4.0 Ui. Decision is urs
