1) Babies are tiny, so they need to eat brine shrimp. Then you can move up to bloodworms and then earthworms by the time they are fully grown.
2) You'll really only need to pay for food, an aquarium, a couple hiding places, and a filter that doesn't stir up the water. (the moving water can cause them stress)
3) I'm not sure exactly, but they can't handle heat very well, so under 70ish degrees if I remember right.
4) My sister's are fed either a half or a whole earthworm every day or every other day. Younger axolotls have a different schedule though.
5) Just make sure it's clean (obviously) and doesn't have any chlorine in it. (So not water straight from the tap if you live in town)
6) Live plants might end up being a hassle, I would just use fake plants. Make sure you either have no gravel in the bottom, or have very coarse gravel (Like decent sized rocks). Otherwise when they eat they will end up sucking in anything that fits in their mouth.
7) Just put them in another container.
8) Every day just take out any uneaten food or poops in the bottom of the tank. I do this with a turkey baster. Every week or so, use a siphon to get anything else out of the bottom of the tank and change out some of the water. If you don't have a filter, you might need to clean it out more often.

These are pure estimates!
1. My friends one loves to eat bloodworms
2. Not sure I imagine around 500-800
3. No idea
4. My friend feeds his once or twice a day and a reasonable amount
5. If you get it out of the tap you have to "condition" it, You can get little bottles of liquid that do this
6. Live i reckon, They can eat it and it looks better as it moves around much more natrually
7. Well only do a little bit at a time, They spend most their time at the bottom so empty half, And then refill with conditoned or rain water.
8. About once every 1 and a half weeks if u want a perfect tank
Tip: Get a little snail, He will ethier eat it. Or it will suck up all the crap on the tank glass
