If Neanderthals were recreated by DNA could they bite people if they were mad?

If someone told a 'Neander' joke in their presence and they bit them, in a court of law could they use the defence "Hey! I'm not really human! What'a want!"

    That's funny.

Really, today modern man is scientifically classed as Homo sapiens sapiens.

Neanderthals are classed as Homo sapiens neanderthalensis.

That is not very different from us, so I hope they have a better defense argument !

The law is not to keep you from being a Neanderthal. The law is to keep you from behaving like a Neanderthal. And to punish you and compensate the victims when you do act like one. Yes it is unfair to you but, a line has to be drawn and a compromise has been arranged where you are allowed to be who and what you are as long as you do not behave as you are. Violence is that line. That compromise that allows you to continue living here amongst the other humans in peace.

Well considering that 5 to 8% of human DNA comes from Neanderthals that I think they would get in trouble yeah the cold use their words because they now think they could talk.
