Car dies when going into gear, what could be the issue.?
I have a Honda CRV. When it is cold and I start the engine the care will idle somewhat rough. When I put the car into gear the engine dies and I have to restart. This doesn't seem to happen when the engine is warm. Anyone have this issue before? What do you think could be the problem?

my brother has the exact same problem on his 1997 altima and he said that the people at the car shop said his fuel injectors were dirty and they need to be cleaned. He bought fuel injector cleaner that you add to gas. Its helped but not perfect yet.. and it is worse when it is cold for him too.. and its much better running when you have a full tank of gas
