What is my mom race, nationalitiy?
Race, Ethnicity and Nationality are all very confusing! So my mom is born in Vietnam and raised there. She is half French half Vietnamese, but some people say if you were born their you are still 100%. So is she? She calls herself Vietnamese.

Yes, Gray bold is right.
Her nationality is Vietnamese,
her ethnicity is Vietnamese,
and race-wise, she is technically mixed-race. Eurasian since she has both European and Asian heritage.

Nationality: Vietnamese
Ethnicity refers to cultural background.
Nationality refers to country of origin.

She is mixed. As for nationality I would have to say Vietnamese since she was born and raised there.

She is mixed race -- half Caucasian (white) half Mongoloid (East Asian)
Her ethnicity is French and Vietnamese.
Her nationality is whatever nation she is a citizen of. Is she a citizen of Vietnam? USA? France? Canada? Whatever it is that is her nationality.
