I can't say for sure, maybe he has mind over matter powers. I have to wonder though, why the cover on the table? Not only could this demonstration been done in a way to dispel suspicion, it seems effort was made not to.

I'm sure even in China devices similar to those at the link are available. In fact I'll wager many of the devices were made in China.

Well, I noticed one thing right off the bat. The bricks that tumbled over and the glass bottle that broke were placed in almost identical positions on the table. That suggests to me that there may be a small piston-like mechanism built into the table at that spot. The man yells "HAI!!!" and the off-camera assistant triggers the mechanism. The piston pops up, tipping the bricks or breaking the bottle.

The bowl of water, however, was placed in a different area. That suggests to me a magnetic trick. Probably a magnet built into the bowl (or hidden at the bottom of the water...) and a second magnet under the table. Again, at the man's cue, the assistant moves the magnet under the table which pulls the bowl along as it moves.

Go watch a Penn & Teller video. They'll do all sorts of amazing feats (in HD by the way) but won't feed you any BullS**t about it being some kind of psychic or magical force involved...

I can't understand Chinese, so I don't know the entire content of this video. The tasks look impressive on the video, but a video of this sort does not provide any convincing scientific evidence.

I am very aware of Chi, and I have actually seen chi masters provide evidence that they are producing energy that can be measured using ultraviolet light detection equipment. The evidence for the existence of Chi is getting stronger, but, unfortunately, this video doesn't meet scientific standards.

The things on this video could be done with magnets or other instruments that are not visible on the video. If you notice that the table he is using, it is covered with a cloth that hides anything that might be under the table top. It's not clear that this man has been checked to see if he is hiding magnets, and it's not clear that the things he is moving have been checked as well.

In scientific terms, a video is poor evidence. Editing and trickery can easily make a video look "real". I am not saying that this video was faked, but I am saying that it doesn't provide the evidence needed by scientists to accept this man's abilities as real.

Thank you for the interesting question!

Hard/Impossible to say since that video quality is so terrible...
