There is simply not enough space to provide a correct explanation for all that you wrote.

If you email me directly I am happy though to do so.

But for now , we will take just one example of how the Bible here was misunderstood.

Lets take Psalm 137:9 , where you quoted ''bashing babies against rocks''.

People say , 'See , here the Bible is saying that this terrible thing is what its right to do' - but it's not saying that at all.....

When you read the Bible and consider the verses in context the meaning becomes clear , and not always the way it seems on a first look.

OK, back to Psalm 137. , and this time lets read 8 and 9.

In the NIV version it renders Psalm 137:8 and 9 as--

''Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,

happy is the one who repays you

according to what you have done to us.''

''Happy is the one who seizes your infants

and dashes them against the rocks.''

This verse is prophetic ,, prophetic meaning telling about some event that would come in the future.

Specifically it was telling about the coming destruction of Babylon.

So the person that is happy over this destruction is the one who would come to destroy and conquer Babylon.

History shows that this person was 'Cyrus The Great'.

Cyrus was NOT a Christian., he followed pagan gods., not the God of the Bible.

Cyrus was a pagan ruler from Persia , which is modern day iraq.

So the Bible passage here is not recommending or condoning such actions , it is just saying that this pagan King would be happy with the results of his military campaign., even though women and infants would suffer greatly at his hand.

With a little investigation , which these sensationalist web sites do NOT do , you can discover what the Bible REALLY teaches , and get off the 'merry go round' of lies and false teachings.

I have sat down and read the Bible and studied it for 25+ years. You have obviously never read the WHOLE Bible and are MISQUOTING Selective parts!

C.S. Lewis and fellow novelist J. R. R. Tolkien (Lord of the Rings) were both professors at Oxford University. Tolkien helped lead Lewis to faith in Jesus Christ. Lewis then wrote many excellent books defending the faith for thinking people. ((He also wrote the classic children’s allegory “The Lion, the Witch and the wardrobe.” ))

Or how about reading - “The Case for a Creator” by Lee Strobel. EXCELLENT evidence.

How do you explain the high degree of design and order in the universe if there is no God?

Remember: The Second Law of Thermodynamics is against atheism!

(Things will always go from order to disorder. Evolution is the exact opposite of this.)

Also: Living Things NEVER Arise from Non-living Things. And Complex Systems do not evolve 'bit by bit' - ever! Complex Design Demands a Complex Designer.

Everyone knows Mount Rushmore was the result of intelligent design. How can the human body (infinitely more complex) not be the result of intelligent design?

There is a multitude more evidence that God exists. What complex system is there that ever designed itself? An atheist cannot find God just as a criminal cannot find a police officer.

The bowels are, metaphorically speaking, the deepest part of ones soul where authentic emotion resides. Pleasure, discomfort, pleasure, expectation all begin and "ferment" within the bowels. Pleasant Play on words Babe. :-)
