  • In this over populated world, which is the better solution: abortion or starvation?

Over one billion people go to bed hungry every day now. Population growing very

  • If God is omnipotent, how is it possible to sin against Him?

You can't possibly harm or hurt God in any way or He is not All Powerful.

Doesn't that make sin a myth? Everything God created is Changeless

forever; so, we can not mar or damage His creations. How can we sin?

Divine Love does not make sinners out of us. What power can?

Now are you going to tell me that God created evil? How could good

create evil and still be good? Don't you see that sin is error and

    errors can be corrected?

  • do we not need some new economic system for mankind to survive.Just read that 40% of USA jobs will disappear?

within the next 20 years. Helping each other survive through cooperation instead of competition

might help us survive in this crowded world. Blaming lying politicians won't solve the problems.

That only diverts our attention from seeking the real solutions that must be uncovered. The elite

will always use underhanded methods to retain control as they do now with their disinformation

campaigns They control the media and use it to make sure your attention is diverted from

real news. Mostly you get sports and entertainment news and a whole lot of disinformation.

  • Do you know the difference between guilt and shame, from "Heart Of The Mind" by C and S Andreas:?

Shame is when you break values imposed on you by other people. Like "you are a sinner

if you don't go to church on Sunday", or maybe" children should be seen and not heard"

"In our research on guilt and shame, we have noticed that although guilt is similar

to shame, there are some important differences. The experience of shame often

doesn't have much information about what a person did wrong, or how it harmed others.

Guilt always includes some representation of how what you did has harmed others,

often including how they will be harmed in the future. Guilt is a feeling response

to violating your own standards of others, while shame involves violating the

    standards of others.

    Quick Fact:

In the US, the number of non-religious people has more than doubled from 14.3 million in 1990 to 29.4 million in 2001; their proportion has grown from just eight percent of the total in 1990 to over fourteen percent in 2001.

This was the greatest increase in absolute as well as in percentage terms among all religious groups.

welcome to the EvilBible.com Web Site......****************************************

This web site is designed to spread the vicious truth about the Bible. For far too long priests and preachers have completely ignored the vicious criminal acts that the Bible promotes. The so called “God” of the Bible makes Osama Bin Laden look like a Boy Scout. This God, according to the Bible, is directly responsible for many mass-murders, rapes, pillage, plunder, slavery, child abuse and killing, not to mention the killing of unborn children. I have included references to the Biblical passages, so grab your Bible and follow along. You can also follow along with on-line Bibles such as BibleStudyTools.net or SkepticsAnnotatedBible.com.

It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said “Thou shall not kill”. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of “all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses” (Joshua 6). In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.

The God of the Bible also allows slavery, including selling your own daughter as a sex slave (Exodus 21:1-11), child abuse (Judges 11:29-40 and Isaiah 13:16), and bashing babies against rocks (Hosea 13:16 & Psalms 137:9).

This type of criminal behavior should shock any moral person. Murder, rape, pillage, plunder, slavery, and child abuse can not be justified by saying that some god says it’s OK. If more people would actually sit down and read the Bible there would be a lot more atheists like myself.

Jesss also promoted the idea that all men should castrate themselves to go to heaven: "For there are eunuchs, that were so born from their mother's womb: and there are eunuchs, that were made eunuchs by men: and there are eunuchs, that made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it." (Matthew 19:12 ASV) I don't know why anyone would follow the teachings of someone who literally tells all men to cut off their privates.

The God of the Bible also was a big fan of ritual human sacrifice and animal sacrifice.

And just in case you are thinking that the evil and immoral laws of the Old Testament are no longer in effect, perhaps you should read where Jesus makes it perfectly clear: "It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid." (Luke 16:17 NAB) There are many more quotes on this topic at my "Do Not Ignore the Old Testament" web page.

I know that most Christians believe that God is a good and loving god, and wants people to do good things. I believe that most people want to do good

  • Read this in a book today and wonder how you feel about it. It is by a pastor of fifteen years?

If a speaker takes a literal interpretation of creation, some people

will rest assured that he or she can be trusted to speak the truth about

    the rest of the bible,

Other people, who are unable to dismiss years of scientific research

supporting evolutionary theory, may consider the same speaker ignorant.

Yet neither side is willing to challenge it's fundamental reading of the text.

For both sides, the story is no longer alive.

The bible has become a club used to bludgeon one's enemies. All joy

and laughter are lost in the hand to hand combat of biblical interpretation.

  • The Christian Church didn't officially condemn the use of torture until the bull of Pope Pious VII in 1816?

The one new commandment that Jesus gave us was to love our brother

  • does it strike you as odd when somebody who obviously doesn't accept all the old bible stories?

as true, asks a question that requires a reasoned answer and other people respond by

quoting pages of bible scriptures. Do they actually think that the questioner is going

Or are they just trying to show that they have memorized great quantities of

  • I found a book that makes some rather startling statements. What do you think about the following paragraph?

Imagine that we could revive a well-educated Christian of the fourteenth century.

The man would prove to be a total ignoramus, except on matters of faith.

His beliefs about astronomy, geography and medicine would embarrass even a child.

But he would know, more or less, everything there is to know about God. ...his

religious ideas would still be above reproach, There are two explanations for this:

either we perfected our religious understanding of the world a millennium ago -- while our knowledge on all other fronts was still hopelessly inchoate -- or religion, being the mere maintenance of

dogma, is one area of discourse that does not admit of progress. We will see there is much to

    recommend the latter view ."

  • Thought precedes emotion... it generally takes several lifetimes for you to understand this process and master?

it. It is only now many of you are beginning to understand that you do create your own reality.

Many have for so long held to the belief that the path to God is the path of suffering.

Suffering has served you by teaching you what you do not want. The new teacher is Joy.

This is the return of the Christ, the awakening of the God/Goddess Within, this is the dawning

of the new age. It is not an external event, but an inner event..........

Does this ring true for you, yet?
