do we not need some new economic system for mankind to survive.Just read that 40% of USA jobs will disappear?
within the next 20 years. Helping each other survive through cooperation instead of competition
might help us survive in this crowded world. Blaming lying politicians won't solve the problems.
That only diverts our attention from seeking the real solutions that must be uncovered. The elite
will always use underhanded methods to retain control as they do now with their disinformation
campaigns They control the media and use it to make sure your attention is diverted from
real news. Mostly you get sports and entertainment news and a whole lot of disinformation.
How can we solve the jobs problem?
I forgot to mention, the projected job losses are the result of automation
not out sourcing. I am not advocating socialism just suggesting that we
need to start looking for new methods of distribution of wealth. Technology
is providing change at a rapid speed - and will continue. Workers are
becoming less necessary except in high tech areas.
some answers seem to think we should continue as in the past, but they
are ignoring the new reality of fewer opportunities for people to earn a living.
We need to brainstorm about this, not recite learned textbook answers.

Only through cooperation will people be able to survive. The dog-eat-dog mentality has brought us to where we are today, yet there are few who are of the cooperative mentality. And it seems that whenever there are huge economic/political problems, many begin talking about Communism as the "solution," but that will only keep things the same or make them worse. What is necessary are intentional communities because the world is heading right now for a real crisis - there is no avoiding that now - and the only solution is for certain numbers of people to band together and help each other to survive because when everything collapses, the large cities will be hellholes (even worse than they are now) and let me point something out: Every day the population of the planet rises by 37,000. That's 13-million people a year. How long can THAT continue? Not very long at all - and then it's all going to fall down ...

job problems in usa will be solved once they stop outsourcing and next encourage americans to pursue a career instead of working in fast food jobs while they "search for their dreams", which means that by the time they are 25, they still dont have a career and all the precious time is wasted. And another thing is to stop wasting money on bombarding other countries. Stopping amount of sex and vulgarness shown on television and in movies so teenagers wouldnt be becoming single parents. And placing a rule that companies can only have a certain % of profit so the difference between rich and poor will reduce. All this can only be done by citizen themselves, not by politicians or government.

Economically we have past the point of no return, the government will soon fail, and our money will become worthless. This is 10 to 15 years in the future. Hide as many number 10 cans of beans as you can. When the USA collapses within 1 year 2/3 rds of us will starve to death. No electricity, heat, light, police, medicine, or anything to make life comfortable. Life will not be easy.

How to solve it?. Bloodshed, civil war of some
sort. It sounds extreme now, but as jobs continue
to decease and with poverty growing RAPIDLY
in America..in 10-20 years or perhaps much
sooner revolution will be the only option. The
thing with America, is such a small disproportionate
minority of cooperations control the VAST majority
of America's wealth. The cooperations, government,
bankers, are all in bed with one another..and ultimately,
it will be them that face the wrath of a disgruntled
nation.

I agree 100%. The competitive nature of a capitalistic society is what will ultimately destroy it.

Yes... Actually, the US (and other countries) need an OLD economic system, like bartering...
