Hi, if your planning on downloading lots of Apps and music straight away, plug it in. You can still use it while its charging. If you want help with it, message me on Yahoo with any queries you have, I am an Apple Dev so know what I'm talking about

Also, try using the touch screen keyboard, if it doesnt work and you prefer to touch something more solid, go ahead and try a keyboard case.

Finally, some good apps I would reccomend are Doodle Jump, Cut the Rope, Angry Birds. These are great apps and are classics. Also, if you are into music mixing, try podDJ which works great on an iPad and an iPad Mini.

Feel free to message me on yahoo if you have any questions whatsoever.

1.- You don't need to completely charge it before you use it, nothing bad is going to happen if you think an old style battery is used, like NiCad or NiMH. The newest type of battery is used, which is Li-ion batteries.

2.- You don't have to take it to them first before you put any other apps on it. They will be able to help you with your email, apps, etc, without other apps causing any problems.

3.-I would not suggest getting a cover with a keyboard. It can be very bulky to have with you. If you would like a tablet with a keyboard, the Surface RT would be great for you since it has a super thin keyboard cover that can be taken off and placed back on. Unfortunately, there is currently a lack of apps from the Windows store that would disappoint you if you thought it was like an Apple app store, unless you go for the Surface Pro, which basically looks like the Surface RT, but can run like a laptop for a much higher price.

4.-My favorite app is Galaxy on Fire 2 HD which cost $6.99 in the app store. The ones without HD is free.

No, don't bother charging it, get straight to the fun! If you are new to iPad, I think this would be a very good idea as it will show you the ropes of iOS. To be honest, I didn't know that they did these sorts of covers for iPad, you may be mixing it up with the Microsoft Surface. There are far too many good apps just to recommend a few. I think there is a 'starter pack' on the App Store.

What's the easiest way to herd sheep? Release a new apple product

If you bought an iPad or iPad mini your are very VERY stupid. It is the biggest waste of money you can imagine, and on top of that the Windows Surface or Android tablets are far superior. This is not opinion, this is hardware, and software capabilities FACT.
