Would bipolar boyfriend change his mind?
I recently started dating someone who is bipolar, and I had only seen him in the manic state, until now. He started talking about how he is a failure and not ready for a relationship because he is so messed up. My question is, how long do you think the depressed state will last? Then, do you think he is going to change his mind and think he is ready? If anyone has experience, that would be helpful... thank you! :)

It can last days weeks or even months and chances are he will come around and all you can do is be there for him
