I am still confused with how people could vote for Obama after HE took credit for killing Bin Laden?

Yes I know it has been a couple months since the election, but it still bothers me. My father is in the Marine Corps and went over 4 times to fight for our country along with the rest of the military branches. I just do not understand how Obama could take full credit for killing Bin Laden when obviously he was sitting around in his office while the Navy Seals did it. He did not thank them, but he gave out their names, which they wanted to be kept a secret. Bill Clinton said, "Say the Navy Seals would have been captured, the down fall would have been horrible for HIM." For him? Our military sacrifice their lives for us all and Obama will sit there and take credit for this.

So what I am asking is how can people still vote for someone that does this?

Because no Navy Seal could say they got bin Laden if Obama didn't give them the order to go into Abbotabad.

Obama didn't risk his life, but he did risk his reputation and credibility. Lots of men would rather lose their life before losing that. To claim that Obama had nothing to risk in the operation that got bin Laden is even more dishonest than saying Obama killed bin Laden himself.

I respect our Navy Seals, but I think these attempts to deny Obama any credit are pathetic.

In 2002 Bush announced that he fairly did not care about bin laden. In 2006 Bush directed the CIA to disband the bin encumbered Working workforce. Bush gave up on discovering Osama bin weighted down. He wasn't even attempting. President Obama, then again, advised CIA Director Leon Panetta to make discovering Osama bin laden a prime precedence in January, 2009. Obama licensed JSOC to begin setting up and coaching for the mission once we had OBL's vicinity constant, and within the face of a divided countrywide protection Council, gave the go order. It was once his name to look for bin encumbered, his call to ship the mission into Pakistan with out telling the Pakistani govt, and had the mission failed do you particularly think the conservatives could be blaming the SEALs and the one hundred and sixtieth Aviation Regiment? No. The responsibility for the success or failure of a military mission rests on the shoulders of the Commander-in-Chief. Obama was very clear about his function, and praised the intelligence property and the troops who applied the mission.

I think you're using flawed logic. If you ask Obama who killed bin Laden, he would say that the SEALs did it. If Bush had been able to get bin Laden during his presidency, then the credit would go to the Bush administration. It happened that Obama was president when it went down, so his administration gets the credit. But no one is saying that Obama roped down to the complex and personally put a bullet in bin Laden. And certainly Obama wouldn't claim to have done that. But he is commander in chief, like it or not. That means he's at the top of the chain of command. His administration is responsible for every command issued. So likewise, he has to take responsiblity for every failed mission, every dead soldier, every tactical blunder as well.

First off you may need to check your sources again. Obama adamantly thanked SEAL Team 6 and those who supported them throughout. From a Global perspective, how do you expect for Osama to get killed and not have the President take credit for it? He is head of all Services, they answer to him and he makes the calls. Bush took the blame for not catching him, or was that the SEALS fault? Your question as to why someone could vote for Obama because he “took credit” (which he should) for killing Bin Ladin, is like asking why the head of any organization takes credit for any development. Did Steve Jobs actually design the IPOD/IPAD/IPHONE…..no, but it’s his company. Coaches put players in the right position, that’s exactly what happened.

i don't like Obama but i can see how people can vote for im very easily because the only other choice was a nut case moron. Obama was the lesser of 2 evils.

America needs a higher quality of candidate to run for office in both parties.

For some odd reason people seem to think Obama want to "help" us.

The only help he is giving us is less rights and more government control and dependence.

Most of the people who voted for Obama didn't know or care about his positions on issues or the lies that he tells. They were voting to support their cult leader.
