Can someone want to take their life and have no mental health issue? Is it possible to be sane and in do much pain emotional or otherwise that you just can't go on. What is normal?

Of course.. Wanting to die can have nothing to do with your mental health, if things are happening in your life which are causing you to not want to be here anymore then you don't need to have any mental health issues..

I believe it is possible. I wanted to take my life for the past four years. It wasn't until recently I had decided how bad I want to live. I was diagnosed with Bipolar 2 Disorder last year and they put me on Seroquel. Now my life has turned around for the better but I can't tell if it was the medication or my boyfriend who changed me. I still don't know if I believe the doctors who think I have a mental illness. :)
