Ladies, have you ever been diagnosed/treated for breast carcinoma in situ?

This is a localized cancer that has not spread. Please provide me with your experiences. I have been diagnosed with this and wondering what treatments I will undertake. I have not met with my surgeon yet so I don't know what to expect. Thank you.

My sister had that diagnosis a few years ago. She decided to have a mastectomy because there is breast cancer in our family. You may have a lumpectomy, and/or radiation and/or oral medications and/or IV chemotherapy. Every situation is different, so there is no way to know what your treatment will be. Read here.
