thigh tattoos? I've been thinking of getting a tattoo for quite a while, but I'm not sure where it should go. It's going to be two lines of song lyrics. would that look good on the side of my thigh? I would probably get it high up enough so that I can cover it if need be.

Either the side of your thigh or the side of your upper back , your shoulder or lower back..

Get an image that represents the song lyrics along with the lyrics. Text tattoos rarely look as good as a nice image. Think about it; text is normally on a flat surface and your body is anything but flat. A nice motif I have seen is an old time record player, or flowers, or something from the album art with a banner that has the lyrics. Your tattoo artist should be able to help with ideas.
If you do get the lyrics make sure they are hand drawn by a tattooer who is good at lettering. Do NOT pick a font off the computer. This will ensure the space of your leg is used in the best possible way.

Thigh tattoos are fine as long as it's something original, interesting, and well done.
Song lyrics, to me, are not original or interesting.
