combining speaker on PC audio system?
is it possible (and how to do it) for me to combine two speaker into a single system?
basically, i have two stereo speaker..
and im planning to use it on both audio jack..
is there any way on how can i make it into a quadraphonic system from a separate audio jack?
maybe by using a software or anything..
the one that i currently using right now at the back panel (analog) is:

and i hav this old speaker of mine, that i plan to use for the front panel (digital):

the sound card im using right now is the motherboard default (ASUS P8Z77-V LK)..
i have checked the Realtek HD Audio Manager speaker configuration, and the available setting option is up to 1.7 speaker system..
so, i guess i don't hav problem with the hardware..
but the problem is when i insert another speaker at the front audio jack, the speaker from the back panel will be muted..
because the front panel is normally (or maybe specifically made) for headphones usage..

You have a nice integrated sound card there, ready for 7.1 action. Multimedia speaker systems mostly come configured, so you'll have to decide which way to go for this. The output of your sound card is "line level". This analog audio signal is compatible with all/any "active" speakers (built in amplifier like multimedia speakers) and av receivers (home stereo amplifiers). Standard 3.5mm stereo phone plug (aka mini jack) cables will connect you to multimedia speaker sets (each jack carries two channels), while 3.5mm stereo phone plug to RCA cables will connect to common home stereo amplifiers. One 3.5mm cable and a pair of multimedia speakers is all you need for quadraphonic sound. connect these to the black jack on your integrated sound card, and adjust sound properties appropriately. The black jack is for surround left and right speakers, the yellow/orange is for center and subwoofer channels if you go 5.1 surround configuration. Good luck, and enjoy!
