So Kaepernick or Flacco will now be considered great huh?

One hasnt even played 10 career games while everyone has named called the other guy an say he sucks. But now that suddenly changes an one will be great because they have a "ring"? This is exactly why football is a TEAM sport. Qbs dont do it alone. If the Niners win , Kaepernick is not better than Marino, Moon or Kelly.

Update:

See, I come on here and try to get people to understand "rings" dont mean jack and people cant understand it and have to use deflection and talk about Romo ha. Will you please admit and understand that because a qb has a "ring" hes not great. If you want Romo facts and numbers, I assure you, I have more knowledge than do you.

That is true. But, one thing we call all agree on is the fact that every QB you mentioned in your question is much better than Romo.

Have the Cowboys traded him yet?!

    *edit*

I understand what you were getting at. I just couldn't resist taking a swipe at the Cowboys.

You do have a valid point, winning a Super Bowl does not automatically mean a QB has entered the realms of greatness. Whichever QB ends up walking away with the Lombardi, he will have won it due to the fact that his TEAM is great. Individually, neither of these QBs are "great."

True but I feel you're saying that romo is good... Haha sorry man he sucks. It's all about winning the big games. Don't worry we've got a bad qb too, Matt schuab.
