Ford Ranger remote doesn't work?

I just bought a '98 Ranger that has two remotes for the door locks. One works and the other doesn't. I replaced the battery, but still no luck. Is it a bad remote?

    It might just need to be reprogrammed. Try visiting Ikeyless.com. You need BOTH or the trunks remotes to perform a reprogramming.

    Turn the key in the ignition ON to OFF 8 times ending in the OFF position. The door locks will cycle. Press any button on the first remote, then any button on the second remote. Remove the keys from th ignition.
