When making rock candy swizzle sticks can I reuse the sugar water by re-boiling it for more?

I am making these for the first time today and I see that I have a full jar of the sugar water. I want to make more but it will only allow me to make 5 at a time in the jars I have. If anyone has any other suggestions on this I will welcome any ideas on making rock candy treats. Thanks.

You need the water to be "super saturated" with sugar in order for it to form crystals. If you already used it once, then some of the sugar has been removed to make the swizzle sticks.

If you want to try and reuse the water, then estimate how much sugar you have used to make the swizzle sticks, replace it with granulated sugar, then boil the sugar water and stir until the sugar you added is disolved.
