Should we give an Affirmative Action preference to people who 'Do not wish to self-identify'?

What I'm talking about is, on applications for schools and jobs, there is often an question something like:

Race/ethnicity:

☑ White/caucasian

☑ African American

☑ Hispanic/Latino

☑ Asian or Pacific Islander

☑ Native American

☑ Two or more races

☑ Do not wish to self identify

Since the people who choose the last category are always a minority, wouldn't it seem fair that we bestow a preferential treatment toward them?

Actually, I know more Caucasians that mark " Do not wish to self identify" than minorities.

    Just saying.

  • the ethnicity/race questions on SOME job applications have nothing to do with affirmative action. they are required by all federal subcontractors so that the government can audit applicants to determine if the employer is discriminating based on skin color or ethnicity. there are no quotas. all this talk about affirmative action is greatly exaggerated.

look up OFCCP for more information.

schools collect the data for demographic statistical purposes.

you can disagree with whether they should ask or not but at least understand the real reasons it happens.

Affirmative Action Preference is a mostly a straw man argument white americans like to make (usually disgruntled males with a fear-based right wing political ideology). There is are very few cases theses days where demographic status plays a role in hiring, promotion, or preference whatsoever.

Affirmative action is for women folk human beings, The Disabled, Minorities, and Veterans. because of the fact it began, White women human beings have benefited the main. 40 years in the past, a girl might have a demanding time being a fireplace lady or police lady. Or getting a large activity promoting or being CEO. So bear in suggestions, lots of your mothers or sisters have benefited.
