Should Matt Ryan declare that he's an elite QB?

Eli Manning declares that he's an elite QB in 2011, he wins the Super Bowl...

Joe Flacco declares that he's an elite QB in 2012, he's going to the Super Bowl...

Should Matt Ryan be next?

No, it only works when the opponent is the Patriots.

Then again, the Patriots face the NFC South next season, so I think he should.

Then again, you don't want to be the QB that gets compared to Eli Manning and Joe Flacco. I mean if he just wants the ring, that's fine, but you won't be remembered if you're on Eli and Joe's level.

No one should ever declare their own self elite, sounds arrogant

Just keep doing well and wait till the media declares you elite, that's what he should do

I'm sure peoples reaction to this discussion would be different if he didn't blow a trip to the superbowl by fumbling on the snap -_-

well now that hes won a "playoff game" and apparently gained a bunch of new skill this past off season, he must be "elite" now. I guess the new criteria for a completely successful season is just winning a "playoff game"! He did that

No, because Cam Newton will do it first.
