My digital Camera takes black and white faint pictures (no details)?

Hi There,

Something strange happened to my Digital Camera Olympus FE230 which I bought more than 2 years ago from NY. Now it shows black objects on the screen and when I transfer photos to my PC, I still have them black. Deadly black without definition. So, if I'm taking a picture of someone, he/she will not be recognized (something black). You can not even define objects taken by this camera.

    What settings are you on? Why didn't you upload an example for us to look at?

    There is a fair chance that you are badly underexposing the shots.

    Get out your book (or download a new manual if you lost it) and read it front to back. Chances are you'll learn a lot and figure out what is going on.
