What is the largest margin of victory over a No. 1 ranked college basketball team Division I)?

I'm trying to win a bet, please provide sources if you can find any (I couldn't, been searching for forever). They showed it after the Duke loss.

Also, has St. John's ever been #1?

I read/saw several places say that it was the 3rd largest loss in NCAA history by a #1, but couldn't find what they were anywhere. Sorry. Couldn't find it.

Second part of your question. St John's has been ranked #1 three times in their history for a total of 8 weeks. They were the preseason #1 in 1949-1950. They were #1 for a week in 1951-1952. Most recently, they were #1 for 5 weeks in the 1984-1985 season from January 29th to February 26. The following week, they lost to Georgetown and the Hoyas leapt over St John's into #1. That was the team with Chris Mullin and Bill Wennington that also lost to Georgetown in the Big East finals and then again in the Final Four.

i imagine UConn ought to nevertheless be a million. They put up an wide strive against with out Dyson and a a Thabeet(he fouled out early interior the second one 0.5). North Carolina is hyped up, they barley beat Miami so i do not imagine they are going to be. My well known crew is Illinois, also a huge Ten* crew. And the large Ten isn't susceptible this season, the position did you get that from? they are ranked second in conferences through ESPN insider, good after the ACC (somewhat). *=enormous Ten no longer enormous 10.
