I have a sony lcd tv and have tuned it in and get all the programs apart from itv one?

one have followed the instructions in the book on how to tune in only one but it won't let me

Update:

I have two other freeview recorders and both they and the tv receive itv 1 they all run through a booster

    You need to increase your signal with a better aerial or a signal amplifier.
