How can I get to Thorpe Park from Southampton?
Me and my friends would like to go to Thorpe Park in March but none us can drive (we're 16) and we don't have enough money to get the train, as its very expensive and there are no coaches from Southampton that lead into Thorpe Park or nearby.
Please Help!

have you not got a local/ nearby trnasport provider? by that i mean somebody who has a 8 seater mini van and usually takes people to the airport, takes bigger groups of friends etc to destinations further away. if you google it or have a look in the yellow pages there must be somebody who runs one of these companies.

You can afford the huge admission price to Thorpe Park and their highly priced food, yet you find
the train fare too expensive!!!. An off peak return from Southampton Central to Staines (for Thorpe Park) is £30. You can save money either by buying rail tickets well in advance for specifically timed trains www.southwesttrains.co.uk or the ticket office at Southampton Central Station
Or by buying an inclusive ticket that includes your rail fares, bus from Staines to Thorpe Park and Thorpe Park admission.
Thirdly, at certain times last year Thorpe Park was offering half price admission to those who produced a railway ticket. Check their website to see whether this offer will still apply this year
Fourthly if you use trains fairly regularly you can buy an annual 16-25 railcard that will give you a 34% discount on your rail tickets www.16-25railcard.co.uk

Southampton to Woking on National coaches, then Woking to Thorpe Park
Check with National coaches, they will tell you times and routes
