How do you remove or disable Java?
Java
I have seen all the news about disabling Java on your computer so I decided to remove it on both of my computers. Now I am reading that you need to disable it by going to the Java control panel and doing so. I used “Add and Remove Programs” in Windows 7. Would that not be the way to remove Java completely from your computer rather than using the Java website control panel?
Thank you,
TomS

Well, that was overkill. All you had to do was disable Java in your browser.
The latest Java update (Java 7, update 11) is supposed to fix this vulnerability. But I think I'm going to leave my browser plugin disabled, anyway...

No. You have that backwards. Its you who have done the wrong thing and completely removed it. or so you have said.
