How long can you go without shopping at the grocery store?
Last time I went grocery shopping was Dec. 31st of last year. The total was a lot more than I would have liked. Then I saw my credit card statements and came up with another way to save a couple hundred bucks... don't go to the grocery store this month! So far so good. You know you usually look in the frig or freezer and think there's nothing to eat, but when you come home from the store, you find there's no room for anything... this solves that problem. I found I had plenty to eat in here.
Wonder if I can go 2 months without shopping. Only downside is fresh milk, veggies and fruits when you run out.
Narco - you crack me up!
Been There - oh, I'm eating good foods. I follow glycemic load guidelines and I've got plenty in the freezer, frig and canned foods.... just didn't realize how much until I tried this!

You can go for a long time! I'm trying to do the same thing right now. Always keep a box of powdered milk on hand so if you run out of milk you can make it at home and it's actually not bad at all. Frozen veggies and fruits can take the place of fresh for a while and you could even make your own bread at home to avoid having to go and get bread. The only thing I can't think of getting away with would be eggs but that's one thing! Go through your cupboards and go through everything and start trying to come up with creative meals to make and stretch the time out more. Oh, and one more thing... there are lots of vegetables that have longer shelf lives such as onions, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. Best of luck you've inspired me to try harder.

Apart from milk and bread I think I would manage 7-10 days, I only have a small fridge freezer than the one I left at home, then I could probably last a month, with eggs added to the above and fresh fruit and veggies.
I would have been able to have coped with frozen and canned

I usually go shop every two weeks or so. I don't drink fresh milk so i don't need it, and i don't eat much eggs. I buy a lot of stuff that lasts a long time without spoiling so i don't need to go shopping very often

1 week.
Fresh milk, fruits and veggies.
Take care of your body .. if you break it down with poor diet, it's not like a car. You can't just throw new parts at it and expect it to work well. Once your health is gone ... it's too late to correct it.
Please don't try to go 2 months without shopping.
