How do you do this card trick?

A guy just did this trick on me.

He shuffled a deck and then started flipping thru it with the cards facing me and asked me to tell him when to stop. I said stop and he gave me that card.

Now he told me to memorize my card.
He gave me the deck and said put your card in there and shuffle it.
I put it somewhere random and shuffled good.

He then took the deck and shuffled it some more.
He took the bottom card and asked if that was my card.
I told him no
He then placed that card face down

He repeated this until 4 cards were face down in front of me.
He then told me to pick 2 cards. I picked 2 and he removed the other 2.
He then told me to pick 1 card. I chose 1 and he took the other off the table.

He instructed me to flip the card over.
It was my card.
How did he do that?

since he gave you the deck to shuffle so he could not know where the card is
but when he shuffles it again it means the he did something,probably,he placed a perticular card in the bottom so your card in a precise position.next,when 4 cards are face down,if you choose 2 where your card is ,he will say to choose one of them.and if you pick your card,he will say it's your's and if you pick the second one he will say that your card is a second one.and if you picked the other 2 he will do the same.so let's just say that he got lucky because you chose the preferable way to amaze you.
