A girl I know confessed that she likes me and she was heartbroken when she heard that I like one of her best friends. She was holding in her tears, but when she left school she started crying. Now things got awkward between me and her. I honestly only think of her as a friend. What should I do?

Right now just be kind to her when you see her, but be careful to not lead her on or to give her any indication that you think of her as more than a friend. As much as possible give her space right now. She will get over it. This is part of life.
