I'm 16 almost 17. Would I be able to enroll myself in a high school without a parent/guardian?

If I live on my own would I be able to enroll myself in a public high school?

    You're not legal

No. You are a minor and also you need to be somebody's responsibility. I would ask anybody for the unique principles for your subject but where I live, adult caregivers have to get a kind notarized announcing that they're liable for the scholar. It gives the caregiver a measure of educational rights with out taking the bulk of it faraway from the mum or dad.

Unless you are legally considered "independent" from your parents you would need a parent/guardian to enroll you.

no you need parents to enroll yourself in a public school if you are a minor.

you could go there, ask for enrollment papers, take them home, fill them out, forge the signeture and then when they call the number you put for you parents, you could answer it and pretend to be your parents.

but most schools you need your parents to come in to choose your courses with you for your first semester at that school for security reasons.

but if you are a good liar and procrastinator you might be able to get away with it but it is very, very doubtful because it is standard procedure.

you could try it and hope for the best though.
