Audition Song for "Oklahoma"?

Hi, I'm doing a "mock" audition for "Oklahoma." I really need a song but I'm not sure. I have a soprano voice but I think I want to sing something lower. I was thinking maybe something from Annie Get Your Gun or Brigadoon.

Thanks!

Well it depends on your range. Soprano really isn't a very specific classification. I am F3 to C7 (c above high C) I suggest something by the same composer, Richard Rogers. Maybe something from The King and I such as I have dreamed. Talk to your voice teacher and do some research. Good luck

Since Oklahoma! is a Rogers and Hammerstein I would recommend doing something from another one of their shows. I know that (from the King and I) I have Dreamed is traditionally a duet, so I'm not sure if that would be the best choice, however you might want to do another Tuptim song...maybe My Lord and Master. Or you could go with an Anna song and so Hello Young Lovers...If you really want something from Annit Get your Gun, you could do THeres No Business like SHow Business...

Hope this Helps and BREAK A LEG:)

i think of this is an exceedingly amicable and good determination for that style of difficulty, to me this is concerning to the perfect music i could desire to think of of. yet although i'm not the perfect individual to verify a music for a stripper audition.
