My Mum wants to speak to my friends mum?

I asked my Mum if I can go to my friends party on Saturday for her Birthday, but I told my Mum we were sleeping over and no alcohol would be involved. I'm diabetic so my Mum said she wants to ring my friends Mum and tell her about my diabetes. I'm scared about asking my friend for her Mum's number and if my Mum finds out about the alcohol. What shall I do?

This is what happens when we tell our little white lies right? Well it's now Sunday so what happened?

What should happen if you are talking about another Saturday is a little truth on your part to someone.

Tell your friend your mom won't let you stay if there's going to be alcohol served and really this

depends on your ages. Are you sure your friends mom knows about the types of drinks you are having?

Or tell your mom drinks may be served but you won't have any, or tell your friend you can't make it or go

back to the little white lies in cahoots with your friend and she can tell "her" mom you are diabetic and

have her call "your" mom about the party. Then your friend can sneak all the alcohol she wants you don't have to drink any and you'll be in the clear lol.

You don't have to be scared. Is diabetes a contiguous disease, no. Your mom loves and you and only want to make sure that the party won't end a disaster. Don't allow diabetes stop you from enjoying life but not without restrictions. Having this disease should not make your life dull, miserable and boring. Exercise limitations after all, you'll be doing this for the rest of your life.
