Need answers from mathmaticians, I suck at this kind of math. Thank you and 10pts.?

The equation is 5ml (1 tsp) per 10 gallons of water. I need to know what the ratio would be per 1 gallon of water. Please use crayon terms, perferably in cooking measurement spoons.

    5/10 = x/1

    x = 1/2 ml
